Popcornhorror.com is some kind of new distributor that's showcasing short horror films online. U.K. filmmaker Louisa Fielden is the only woman with a short film so-far picked up by Popcorn Horror. The short is "Jump." She says:
I wrote and directed 'Jump!' as a response to all the rubbish experimental shorts I was watching at the time, and I hope that in 2012 it can continue to bring a laff to smartphone users the world over.
Watch "Jump" now:
Fielden was recently interviewed by my "nephew" Alan Kelly over at SeeHorror.com for his colum "Behind the Lense":
I consider horror to be a director’s medium and that’s why it appeals to me. Good horror films are crafted with exquisite care and skill. Also, horror attracts fans that pursue the genre with passion.
